The article critically discusses the patterns of anti-poverty policies adopted in Italy, showing how the low efficiency of Public Administration dramaticaly limits the effectiveness of interventions. The article suggests the strengthening of public-private partnerships all along the route of application of the interventions as a tool to overcome these limitations.
