In recent years it has become increasingly small the index of marital fertility and becomes more and more widespread the phenomenon of the "one child". The contribution develops a pedagogical reflection, answering some fundamental questions: what is the position of Pedagogy of family against the falling birth rate? What significance can be attributed to the phratry as a space for educational opportunities? What advice can be given to encourage the recovery of the fraternal society?
