The use of this machine allows for strength training and muscle strength of upper limbs, shoulders and chest, with the advantage of sitting rather than supine position as with the use of barbells and dumbbells. The chest press machine is designed mainly for isotonic strengthening the pectoral muscles with an important involvement of the shoulders and back of your arms. Using these will work on the upper limbs alternatively to that performed with barbells and dumbbells on flat bench, inclined and declined. With the chest press are stimulated the triceps brachii, the pectoralis (large and small) and the band of the deltoid muscles (more emphasis on that front). The movement against resistance has led to loads of arms to push forward the associated extension at the elbows. The first chest press allowed only this last movement is not taking into account that the pectoral muscles also works as the adductor of the arm. Here, then, that greater caution in the process of design by manufacturers of tools, has allowed the change of the trajectory of the movement that, in a direction towards the forward, low and inside, it stresses the pectoral muscle to the fullest and correct. Also from the point of view of the R.O.M.
