Spazio e vissuti

The concept still dominant of space derives from the descriptions provided by the sciences, whose parameters, however, do not allow to grasp the impact of emotions and feelings in the perception of the space. Infact, this perception isn’t measurable with the quantitative tools of mathematics and physics, however provides despite providing indisputable information on about how the subject lives the spaces where he or she interacts with the others. Educational and care professions should take these spaces into account as they significantly affect the learning process, communication, and relationships. It is therefore necessary to enable the feelings as a source of universal and intersubjectively communicable knowledge, giving access to a knowledge of human beings that is rigorous although not mathematically exact .

La nozione tuttora dominante di spazio deriva dalle descrizioni fornite dalle scienze, i cui parametri tuttavia non consentono di cogliere l’incidenza di emozioni e sentimenti nella percezione dello spazio. La percezione infatti non è misurabile con gli strumenti quantitativi della matematica e della fisica, per quanto fornisca informazioni incontestabili su come il soggetto viva gli spazi in cui interagisce con gli altri, spazi di cui le professioni educative e di cura dovrebbero tener conto poiché incidono significativamente nei processi di apprendimento, nelle comunicazioni, nelle relazioni. Occorre allora abilitare il sentire come fonte di conoscenza universale e comunicabile intersoggettivamente, che dà accesso ad un sapere dell’umano rigoroso per quanto non matematicamente esatto.
