Per la cronologia abbaziale del monastero del Santo Spirito di Pavia

The article is focused on the edition of a short list of priors and abbots who governed the monastery of the Holy Spirit in Pavia from the early 15th to the middle of the 18th century. The list was probably compiled by a skilled and influential monk, Sisto Rocci, not before and nearly 1750, and then kept in the coenoby’s archive till the suppression of the abbey. In comparison with other similar sources, its main value resides in the fact that it was produced only putting pure archival information together, with no addition of personal construction, conjectures and such.
