This chapter accounts for the UK’s participation in the EU Migration System of Governance by providing an overview of the historical development of British immigration policy in order to identify some long-term trends. We then proceed to identifying the main features of the UK’s migration policy, and conclude with an assessment of the UK’s migration policy through the lenses of global justice.
