Digitisation and the change of media scenario have definitely change the role of cinema in children and teenagers life. Nevertheless, the changes has not to be consider necessary as negative one. The reduce of cinema-going is compensated by the increase of film viewing by other device. The relationship between young people and cinema remains significant and rich of implications and meanings. The essay aims to explore the wide spectrum of emotions, meanings, experience connected to cinema by Italian children through the data of a large survey (6000 questionnaires) conducted in 2017.
